HENNESSY BARTENDERS CONTEST 2020
For several years now, Hennessy has been organizing a competition that provides young, talented bartenders in Azerbaijan with the opportunity to showcase their potential and creativity. The winner gets the chance to visit the heart of the brand in Cognac, France, and learn all about the history of this beverage.
This year was no exception! Together with the official distributor Master Blend, Hennessy hosted the most anticipated competition for the country’s talented bartenders—the Hennessy Bartenders Contest 2020.
According to the competition rules, participants had to create a story for their exclusive cocktail, explaining what inspired them to create it, record the story on video, and share it on their social media. The 6 finalists, selected by the brand representatives, faced off in a heated final.

Each of them dazzled with their bartending skills and creativity in the battle for first place, crafting their unique cocktail and presenting it to the jury, which included last year’s competition winner Valera Ramazanov, the star jury member Azad Shabanov, and brand representative Teymur Aslanov.
The main winner of the competition was Kamran Rzaev. He won the unique opportunity to visit France—the city of Cognac, the Hennessy distillery, and the family estate Château de Bagnolet, which belongs to the Hennessy family and has hosted only the most distinguished guests, including members of royal families, prominent politicians, and global stars. Today, this guest house opens its doors only to close guests and friends of the Hennessy house.
